Description

This recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese is a classic of Italian cuisine. Prepared with fresh ingredients such as carrots, celery and ground beef, it is a hearty and filling main course for the whole family. Preparation in the Thermomix® simplifies the process and saves time. In about 45 minutes, this dish is ready and can be served with Parmesan and basil.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 200 g Carrots
  • 2 Stangen Celery stalk
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Stück Garlic clove
  • 1 EL Olive oil
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • Pepper
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 800 g Chopped tomatoes (can)
  • 1 EL Dried oregano
  • 400 g Spaghetti

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare carrots and celery

Peel the carrots and cut them into coarse pieces together with the celery.

Prepare onion and garlic

Peel and quarter the onion. Peel the garlic clove.

Chop vegetables

Put 200g carrots, 2 stalks of celery, 1 onion and 1 clove of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 5.

Sauté vegetables

Add 1 tbsp olive oil and sauté for 5 min./120°C/level 1.

Fry ground meat

Brown 500g ground beef in a separate pan until crumbly and season with salt and pepper.

Add ground meat and remaining ingredients

Add the fried ground beef, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 800g chopped tomatoes (can) and 1 tbsp dried oregano to the mixing bowl and cook for 25 min./100°C/level 1 reverse.

Cook spaghetti

Meanwhile, cook 400g spaghetti in sufficient salted water according to the package instructions and drain.

Serve

Serve the spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
