Description

This spinach salmon roll is a delicious finger food that is ideal as an appetizer or for brunch. It is easy to prepare and takes about 30 minutes, plus 2 hours of chilling time. The roll is gluten-free and offers a delicious combination of spinach, salmon and cream cheese. Perfect for festive occasions or as a savory snack.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 4 Stück Eggs (size M)
  • 0.5 TL Salt
  • 1 Prise White pepper
  • 200 g Fresh spinach
  • 50 g Grated Gouda cheese
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 1 EL Lemon juice
  • 300 g Smoked salmon in thin slices
  • 1 Blatt Baking paper

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare spinach-egg mixture

Add 4 eggs (size M), ½ tsp salt, 1 pinch of white pepper and 200 g fresh spinach to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4.

Bake spinach-egg mixture

Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Pour the spinach-egg mixture onto it and sprinkle 50 g of grated Gouda cheese over it. Bake the sheet in a preheated oven at 160 degrees top and bottom heat (140 degrees fan oven) for approx. 12 minutes until the egg is set.

Fill and roll up the roll

Remove the baking sheet and let it cool. Carefully loosen the set egg-spinach mixture from the baking paper and spread with 200 g cream cheese. Drizzle with 1 tbsp lemon juice, some salt and pepper. Place 300 g of smoked salmon next to each other and roll up the spinach mixture tightly.

Chill the roll

Wrap the roll tightly in cling film and seal well at the edges. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
