Description

This chicken stew with vegetables is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for cooler days. The combination of tender chicken and fresh seasonal vegetables, cooked to perfection in the Thermomix®, results in a nutritious and delicious meal. I prepare it often because it is very easy to make and my family loves it. Also, it can be adapted to everyone's tastes, adding other vegetables or spices. Go ahead and try it, you will be surprised how rich it is! Ideal for a family meal or a dinner with friends.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken breast supreme
  • 1 piece carrot
  • 0.25 piece green pepper
  • 0.25 piece red pepper
  • 1 piece onion
  • 1 piece round zucchini or zucchini
  • 2 cucharadas soperas flour
  • 1 cucharadita paprika
  • 1 cucharada sopera sweet paprika

Preparation (7 steps)

Preparation of the vegetables

Wash, peel and cut the carrot into medium sticks. Cut the onion into julienne strips, the green pepper and the red pepper into strips. Cut the round zucchini or zucchini into half moons. Reserve the vegetables separately according to their cooking time.

Sautéing the base vegetables

Add 1 tsp of oil to the Thermomix bowl. Add the onion, green pepper, red pepper and carrot. Program 7 Min./Varoma/Reverse rotation/Spoon speed. If the vegetables dry out, add 1 tbsp of broth or water through the lid.

Add the zucchini and reserve

Add the zucchini cut into half moons to the bowl. Program 4 Min./Varoma/Reverse rotation/Spoon speed. Remove all the vegetables from the bowl and reserve on a plate.

Chicken preparation

Cut the chicken breast supreme into uniform strips approximately 2 cm wide. In a plate, mix the flour with salt and pepper. Completely cover the chicken strips with the seasoned flour.

Brown the chicken in the pan

In a frying pan, add 1 tbsp of oil and brown the chicken over medium-high heat. Do not move it for the first 3-4 minutes to form a golden crust. Then turn it to seal it on all sides. Remove the chicken from the pan and reserve.

Incorporate vegetables and chicken into the Thermomix

Add the sautéed vegetables and the browned chicken back to the Thermomix bowl. Add the sweet paprika and the paprika. Add broth to cover the ingredients.

Final cooking of the stew

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Giro inverso/Velocidad cuchara 100 Reverse

Program 10 Min./100°C/Reverse rotation/Spoon speed so that the flavors blend perfectly. Check the consistency of the sauce and adjust the time if necessary.
