Description

This Thermomix® recipe for juicy pulled chicken is a protein-rich main course with chicken breast fillet, paprika powder and barbecue sauce. In 50 minutes, including 20 minutes of working time, a hearty meal for 6 servings is created. Ideal for parties, guests or a hearty family meal in summer. The recipe requires few ingredients and is easy to prepare in the Thermomix®.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 800 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 2 EL Sunflower oil
  • 1 EL Mustard
  • 2 TL Paprika powder - sweet
  • 1 TL Paprika powder - smoked
  • 1 TL brown sugar
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 250 ml Barbecue sauce
  • 100 ml Apple juice

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare marinade

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Put 2 tbsp sunflower oil, 1 tbsp mustard, 2 tsp sweet paprika powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika powder, 1 tsp brown sugar and 1 tsp salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Marinate chicken

Put 800 g chicken breast fillet in a bowl and mix with the marinade from the mixing bowl. Make sure the meat is completely covered. Clean mixing bowl.

Fry chicken

Heat a roasting pan on the stove and fry the marinated chicken breast fillet on all sides for approx. 3 minutes until golden brown. Then put the fried chicken into the mixing bowl.

Prepare sauce and cook chicken

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add 250 ml barbecue sauce and 100 ml apple juice to the fried chicken in the mixing bowl. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top and bottom heat. Cook the chicken for 20 min./100°C/speed 1.

Pull chicken

Remove the cooked chicken from the mixing bowl and pull it apart with two forks. Clean the mixing bowl.

Finish cooking pulled chicken

10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put the pulled chicken back into the mixing bowl and cook for another 10 min./100°C/speed 1.
