  • 1 piece chicken breast
  • 1 piece onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 piece carrot
  • 0.5 piece zucchini
  • 1 cucharada sopera oil
  • 25 gramos hydrated raisins
  • 25 gramos peeled peanuts
  • 120 mililitros water
  • 1 cucharada postre cornstarch
  • salt
  • pepper
  • ground chili
  • 3 cucharadas soperas soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup rice or apple vinegar
  • 1 cucharada sopera honey
  • 1 cucharadita cinnamon

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop garlic and onion

Peel 1 clove of garlic and 1 onion. Place the garlic in the bowl and chop 3 Sec./Speed 7. Add the onion cut into julienne strips and chop 3 Sec./Speed 5. Lower the remains from the walls of the bowl with the spatula.

Sauté garlic and onion

Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the bowl and sauté 3 Min./120°C/Speed 1.

Add carrot and zucchini

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Peel and cut 1 carrot into slices. Wash and cut ½ zucchini into slices. Add the carrot and zucchini to the bowl and sauté 5 Min./120°C/Speed 1.

Prepare the sauce

In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, ½ cup of rice or apple vinegar, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Reserve.

Add the sauce and spices

Pour the reserved sauce into the bowl. Add salt, pepper and ground chili to taste. Program 10 Min./100°C/Speed 1.

Add dissolved cornstarch

Dissolve 1 dessert spoon of cornstarch in ½ cup of water (120 milliliters). Pour the mixture into the bowl and program 2 Min./100°C/Speed 2.

Incorporate chicken, raisins and peanuts

Cut 1 chicken breast into medium cubes. In a frying pan, heat oil and brown the chicken cubes. Incorporate the browned chicken into the Thermomix bowl. Add 25 grams of hydrated raisins and 25 grams of peeled peanuts. Mix with the spatula.
