Description

This hearty noodle casserole is an absolute classic and perfect when you have many hungry mouths to feed! I like to make it when guests come over or for a relaxed family meal. The combination of colorful ribbon noodles, juicy tomatoes, spicy ham and the fresh herb curd makes it simply irresistible. And the best thing is: it can be prepared very well! Simply layer all the ingredients, pour the cream-egg mixture over it and put it in the oven. A hearty dish that is guaranteed to please everyone and is wonderful for using up leftovers.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 600 g Ribbon noodles yellow and green
  • 2 kg Beef tomatoes
  • 750 g Ham cooked, in one piece
  • 8 piece Eggs
  • 500 ml Cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 bunch Chives
  • 1 bunch Parsley smooth
  • 4 Pck. Curd (herb curd), à 200 g

Preparation (8 steps)

Cook noodles

Cook 600 g ribbon noodles yellow and green in a separate pot according to the package instructions. Then drain and set aside.

Prepare tomatoes

Peel 2 kg beef tomatoes and cut into slices. Set aside.

Dice ham

Cut 750 g of cooked ham in one piece into cubes. Set aside.

Prepare cream-egg mixture

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Put 8 eggs, 500 ml cream, salt and pepper freshly ground into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Chop herbs

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 2

Put 1 bunch of chives and 1 bunch of smooth parsley in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Then add to the cream-egg mixture and stir in for 5 sec./speed 2.

Layer casserole

Cover a baking dish with a layer of tomatoes, sprinkle with salt, pepper, some chives and parsley and add half of the diced ham on top. Layer the cooked noodles, the remaining tomato slices and the remaining diced ham on top. Add the remaining herbs and spread the cream-egg mixture evenly over it.

Bake casserole (part 1)

Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C for 35 minutes.

Spread curd and finish baking

Place 4 packets of herb curd (à 200 g) over the casserole and bake for another 15 minutes at 200°C.
