Description

These shredded chicken tacos in mole sauce are an explosion of Mexican flavor. The chicken breast, cooked to perfection and then shredded, is mixed with a rich and complex mole sauce, creating a delicious and comforting filling. I've been making this recipe for years and it's always a hit at home. Perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a themed party. The mole sauce, with its mixture of chiles, spices and chocolate, gives it a unique and special touch. Go ahead and try them, you'll love them! Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 1 kilogramo Chicken breast
  • 500 gramos Mole paste
  • 1 kilogramo Corn tortilla
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 pieza Small onion

Preparation (8 steps)

Chicken preparation

Wash 1 kilogram of chicken breast and cut it into medium pieces. Place the chicken pieces in the Thermomix bowl.

Chicken cooking

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/212°F/Giro inverso/Velocidad cuchara 100 Reverse

Add 1 clove of garlic, a piece of small onion and salt to taste to the Thermomix bowl. Cover the chicken with water. Program 25 Min./100°C/Reverse rotation/Spoon speed.

Shredding the chicken

Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the Thermomix bowl and let it cool slightly. Shred the chicken with your hands or with two forks.

Mole sauce preparation

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Velocidad 2 90

Pour 500 grams of mole paste into the Thermomix bowl. Add 250 ml of the chicken cooking broth. Program 5 Min./90°C/Speed 2.

Mole sauce cooking

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/194°F/Velocidad 2 90

Program 15 Min./90°C/Speed 2. Adjust the salt to taste. The consistency should be thick.

Mixing the chicken with the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 Seg./Giro inverso/Velocidad 2 Reverse

Add the shredded chicken to the Thermomix bowl with the mole sauce. Mix 5 Sec./Reverse rotation/Speed 2.

Heating the tortillas

Heat the corn tortillas in a pan or griddle.

Filling and serving

Fill the hot tortillas with the shredded chicken in mole sauce. Serve the hot tacos.
