Description

The cake can be decorated with various Easter decorations.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 150 g Oil
  • 300 g Wheat flour, Type 700 or Spelt flour, Type 700
  • 1 Pkg. Baking powder
  • 250 g Natural yogurt
  • 500 g Whipped cream
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 50 g Sugar
  • Easter bunny cookies and chicken cookies
  • 30 piece Chocolate candies, halved
  • 100 g Chocolate candies, chopped

Preparation (8 steps)

Whisk eggs, sugar and oil until frothy

Put 4 eggs, 150 g sugar and 150 g oil into the mixing bowl and whisk for 3 min./speed 4 until frothy.

Stir in flour, baking powder and natural yogurt

Add 300 g wheat flour (Type 700) or spelt flour (Type 700), 1 package baking powder and 250 g natural yogurt and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3.

Pour dough into baking pan and bake

Insert the Patix dough knife. Place the baking frame on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and pour in the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C convection for approx. 25 minutes.

Whip whipped cream until stiff

Thermomix® Setting
2-3 min/Speed 3.5

Put 500 g whipped cream into the mixing bowl and whip with the butterfly for 2-3 min./speed 3.5 until stiff. Observe the consistency.

Stir in mascarpone and sugar

Thermomix® Setting

Add 500 g mascarpone and 50 g sugar and stir in for 15 sec./speed 3.

Cut and fill the cake

Cut the cooled cake twice. Spread approx. ⅓ of the cream on the bottom part and place the middle part on top. Spread a layer of cream on this as well, and finally place the 3rd part on top.

Spread cream on the cake

Spread the remaining cream on top and around the cake.

Decorate cake

Decorate with Easter bunny and chicken cookies. Place halved chocolate candies in a circle on the cake and decorate the cake within the circle with chopped chocolate candies. For the chopped chocolate candies, place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid, select the coarse disc and chop the chocolate candies. Collect the cut material and use it for decoration.
