Description

I love this tart with tomatoes and reblochon, it is perfect for a sunny lunch or a light dinner. The crispy puff pastry, the juicy tomatoes and the melting reblochon go wonderfully together. A little mustard and thyme add an extra touch of flavor. It's a simple dish to make, but it always impresses. I often prepare it in summer, when the tomatoes are at their peak. Feel free to add other aromatic herbs according to your tastes, such as basil or oregano. A real treat!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 piece puff pastry
  • 0.25 piece reblochon
  • 6 piece Roma tomato or small beef heart
  • 1 c. à s. fine semolina
  • Mustard
  • Thyme
  • Salt or fine salt
  • Mill pepper
  • Chives

Preparation (5 steps)

Preparation of the tomatoes

Wash and cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Set aside.

Assembling the tart

Preheat the traditional oven to 180°C. Spread the puff pastry on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Brush lightly with mustard. Sprinkle with fine semolina.

Adding the ingredients

Arrange the tomato slices on the dough. Cut the reblochon into slices and distribute them over the tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper and thyme.

Baking the tart

Bake the tart in the preheated traditional oven and cook for 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the reblochon is melted.

Finishing

When leaving the oven, sprinkle with freshly chopped chives. Serve hot or warm.
