Description

This chicken tartiflette is a revisited version of a Savoyard classic, perfect for convivial meals with family or friends. I love preparing this dish, especially when the temperatures start to drop. The melting potatoes, tender chicken and grated cheese create a harmony of comforting flavors. It's a complete and generous dish, ideal for large tables. Feel free to use a cheese from your region for a personal touch. The preparation is simple and the result is always a guaranteed success! A real delight for the taste buds!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1.2 kg Potatoes
  • 6 piece Chicken breasts
  • 200 g Fresh cream
  • 1 can Cheese
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (9 steps)

Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C.

Cook the potatoes

Put 1.2 kg of potatoes in the cooking basket. Fill the mixing bowl with 1 liter of water. Place the cooking basket in the mixing bowl and cook 25 Min./100°C/speed 1.

Prepare the chicken

Cut 6 chicken breasts into small pieces and set aside.

Sauté the chicken

In a non-stick pan, sauté the chicken pieces in a little oil for 2 minutes. Set aside.

Cut the potatoes

Once the potatoes are cooked, peel them and cut them into thin slices.

Prepare the cream

In a bowl, pour 200 g of fresh cream, salt and pepper. Mix everything together.

Assemble the tartiflette

In a baking dish, place a first layer of potato slices, then a layer of chicken and cheese slices. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of potatoes.

Coat with cream

Pour the salted and peppered fresh cream over the potatoes.

Bake in the oven

Bake your dish for 30 minutes.
