Description

This Thai curry with beef and noodles is a delicious main course that combines the flavors of Thailand. The recipe is easy to prepare and is also suitable for beginners. It contains beef fillet, vegetables and an aromatic curry paste. Ideal for a quick yet flavorful lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 1 TL Vegetable oil
  • 400 g Beef fillet
  • 1 Stück Vegetable onions
  • 1 Stück Bell pepper, red
  • 1 EL Curry seasoning paste, red
  • 1 Stück Chili peppers
  • 400 ml Coconut milk (concentrate for cooking)
  • 2 TL Vegetable broth (instant powder)
  • 1 Stück Limes
  • 240 g Noodles (dry)
  • 150 g Sugar snap peas/snow peas
  • 125 g Baby corn, pickled (canned)
  • 2 EL Coriander, fresh, chopped

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop vegetable onions

Cut 1 piece of vegetable onions into fine slices. Then add to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5.

Prepare bell pepper

Core 1 piece of bell pepper, red, and cut into strips.

Prepare chili peppers

Core 1 piece of chili peppers and cut into fine strips.

Sear beef fillet

Heat 1 tsp vegetable oil in a pan. Sear 400 g beef fillet in it for 2 - 3 min. while stirring. Add onions and bell pepper and fry as well. Then set aside.

Sauté curry paste

Add 1 tbsp curry seasoning paste, red, 1 piece chili peppers, cored and in fine strips, and grated zest of 1 piece lime to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Add coconut milk and broth

Add 400 ml coconut milk (concentrate for cooking) and 2 tsp vegetable broth (instant powder), dissolved in 500 ml water, to the mixing bowl and bring to a boil for 5 min./100°C/level 1.

Add noodles and vegetables

Reduce heat and add 240 g noodles (dry), 150 g sugar snap peas/snow peas, halved, and 125 g baby corn, pickled (canned) to the mixing bowl and simmer for another 5-6 min./100°C/Reverse/level 1 until the noodles are cooked.

Season and serve

Finally, add the fried beef and vegetables, 2 tbsp coriander, fresh, chopped, and juice of 1 piece lime and serve.
