Description

This creamy kale soup with potatoes is a hearty and warming dish, ideal for the cold season. The soup is easy to prepare and is excellent as a main course. With fresh kale, potatoes and cooked sausage, it is rich and filling. The preparation time is about 45 minutes and yields 4 servings. Perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner.

  • 1 Zwiebel Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 2 EL Oil
  • 200 g Cooked sausage, coarsely
  • 1 Stange Celery
  • 500 g Potatoes, floury
  • 500 g Kale, fresh
  • 1 l Vegetable broth
  • 200 ml Water
  • 100 ml Cream
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • nach Geschmack Nutmeg

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Peel and halve the onion. Peel the garlic clove. Put both in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Fry meat

Fry the meat in a separate pan.

Prepare and add vegetables

Clean the celery and cut into coarse pieces. Peel and dice the potatoes. Put both together with the kale in the mixing bowl.

Cook soup

20 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add vegetable broth and water. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Also add the fried meat. Cook for 20 min./100°C/speed 1.

Purée soup

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 8-10

Add cream and purée for 30 sec./speed 8-10. Slowly increase the speed and hold the lid firmly.

Season and serve

Season the soup with salt, pepper and nutmeg and serve.
