Description

This poultry dish with fresh cream is a classic revisited with the Thermomix®. I love its simplicity and comforting taste. The chicken breast strips, tender and flavorful, are coated in a wonderfully creamy sauce. It's a perfect dish for a quick weeknight dinner or a Sunday family lunch. The poultry is first browned in a pan to develop its aromas, then the sauce is prepared in the Thermomix®, which guarantees a smooth texture and rich taste. Serve with basmati rice, fresh tagliatelle or mashed potatoes for a complete and delicious meal. A real treat!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 600 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 180 g Thick fresh cream
  • 50 g Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Ground pepper

Poultry preparation

Cut the poultry breasts into strips, following the grain of the meat. Salt and pepper to your liking.

Cooking the poultry in the pan

Heat the butter in a large frying pan. Add the poultry pieces and cook on all sides until golden brown. Set the poultry aside.

Preparation of the cream sauce

Pour the thick fresh cream into the Thermomix bowl. Add the cooking juices from the meat recovered from the pan. Mix gently with the spatula.

Cooking the sauce

Set the Thermomix to 5 Min./90°C/Stufe 2. Let the cream thicken.

Adding the poultry and finishing the cooking

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add the cooked poultry strips to the Thermomix bowl. Set the Thermomix to 2 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1 to reheat the poultry in the sauce.

Serve

Serve immediately with a beautiful timbale of basmati rice, fresh tagliatelle or mashed potatoes.
