Description

These chocolate whoopie pies are a delightful treat, perfect for parties or a special dessert.   • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 0.75 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups marshmallow creme

Prepare Dry Ingredients

Add 4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and ½ teaspoon baking soda to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4 to combine.

Cream Butter and Sugar

Add 1 cup butter (at room temperature) and 2 cups white sugar to the mixing bowl. Mix for 30 Sec./Stufe 4 until creamy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract to the mixture. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3 until well combined.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets. For 25 whoopie pies, make 50 cookies. Bake cookies in the preheated oven until set and lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Let cool completely.

Add 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and 2 cups marshmallow creme to the filling. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3 until well combined.

Assemble Whoopie Pies

Spread at least 1 teaspoon filling on the bottom of a cookie and top with a second cookie. Repeat with remaining cookies and filling.
