Description

This wine cake, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a festive cake classic with Thea, coarse sugar, strong flour and eggs. Cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla provide a fine aroma, planed chocolate for the finishing touch. The preparation takes about 80 minutes, the active working time is 20 minutes. Ideal for coffee tables and special occasions. Suitable for anyone who loves classic cake recipes.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 30 g Thea
  • 30 g Coarse sugar
  • 30 g Strong flour
  • 6 Stück Eggs
  • 1.5 TL Cinnamon
  • 1.5 TL Cocoa
  • 1 Stück Vanilla
  • 15 g Planed chocolate
  • 0.25 l Red wine
  • 1 Stück Baking powder

Preparation (7 steps)

Mix Thea, sugar and eggs until frothy

Put Thea, coarse sugar and eggs in the mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes / speed 4 until frothy.

Stir in cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla

Add cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla and stir in for 20 seconds / speed 3.

Plane chocolate

Place the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid. Choose coarse disc. Add chocolate and plane. Collect the cut material.

Stir in planed chocolate

Add planed chocolate and stir in for 10 seconds / speed 2 / reverse.

Fold in flour and baking powder

Add red wine

Add red wine and stir in for 10 seconds / speed 2 / reverse.

Baking

Pour the dough into a cake tin and bake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for 50 minutes. Then leave in the switched off oven for 15 minutes.
