Description
A simple cinnamon cake with ground hazelnuts, perfect for coffee or a festive occasion.
Ingredients (9 ingredients)

200 g Sugar
-
125 g Margarine
-
3 Stück Eggs
-
250 g Flour
-
1 Pck. Baking powder
-
1 TL Cinnamon
-
100 g Hazelnuts, ground
-
2 EL Icing sugar
-
1 EL Water
Preparation (7 steps)
Chop nuts
Put hazelnuts into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.
Stir sugar and margarine
Put sugar and margarine into the mixing bowl and stir for 3 min./speed 3.
Add eggs
Add eggs individually and mix for 20 sec./speed 3 each.
Add flour mixture
Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon, add to the mixing bowl and stir for 30 sec./speed 4.
Fold in nuts
Add chopped hazelnuts and fold in with the spatula.
Bake dough
Put the dough into a greased and floured cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C top/bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes.
Prepare icing sugar
Stir icing sugar and water and spread it on the cooled cake.
