Description

This green spelt soup is a hearty and warming dish, ideal for the cold season. The soup is prepared with green spelt, onions, sour cream and fresh herbs. With a preparation time of only 10 minutes, it is quick and easy to prepare. The soup is vegetarian and can be refined with other spices as desired.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 100 g Green spelt whole grains
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 50 g Butter
  • 800 g Water
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable broth powder
  • 250 g Sour cream
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 knife tip Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 bunch Parsley chopped

Preparation (8 steps)

Grind green spelt

Put 100 g green spelt into the mixing bowl and grind for 20 sec./level 10. Transfer the green spelt flour.

Chop onion

Put 1 piece of onion in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 8 sec./level 5. Push down with the spatula.

Add butter and sauté

Add 50 g butter and sauté for 2 min./Varoma/level 2.

Add the prepared green spelt flour and sauté for 1 min./Varoma/level 2.

Insert butterfly

Insert butterfly.

Add water and vegetable broth powder and cook

Add 800 g water and 1 level tablespoon vegetable broth powder, 20 sec./level 4, but slowly switch from level 1-4 in the first 8-10 sec.

Remove butterfly, cook for 12 min./80°C/level 2.

Add 250 g sour cream, 1 bunch of parsley (chopped), 1 pinch of sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 1 pinch of nutmeg, 1 pinch of pepper and spices (season to taste) and stir for 15 sec./level 8.
