Description

Halva sweet specialty is a vegetarian dessert made from sunflower seeds, flour, water, sugar and oil, prepared in the Thermomix®. This gluten-free sweet from the confectionery category is ideal as a snack. Preparation takes a total of 210 minutes, with active working time of around 20 minutes. The recipe is perfect for anyone looking for a simple and delicious sweet.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 250 g Sunflower seeds
  • 70 g Flour
  • 20 g Water
  • 90 g Sugar
  • 1 TL Oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Roast sunflower seeds

Roast sunflower seeds (250g) in a pan without oil, stirring constantly, and let cool.

Heat flour

Add flour (70g) to the pan and heat, stirring constantly, until a beige color develops and let cool.

Chop sunflower seeds

Put the roasted sunflower seeds into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./level 10.

Add flour and mix

Add flour to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./level 10. Then transfer.

Cook water and sugar

Put water (20g) and sugar (90g) into the mixing bowl and cook for 6 min./120*/level 1 without the measuring cup.

Add oil and flour mixture

Add oil (1 tsp) and the contents of the mixing bowl to the flour and mix well.

Fill the mixture into the mold and cool

Line a tin with cling film, add the mixture, spread it out and press down firmly.

Cool

Place everything in the refrigerator for about 3 hours.
