Description

This cherry clafoutis is a classic French dessert, perfect for summer when cherries are at their peak. I love its simplicity and creamy texture, almost like a thick pancake baked in the oven. Preparation is quick with the Thermomix®, making it an ideal dessert for family meals or special occasions. The juicy cherries burst in the mouth, offering a natural sweetness that pairs wonderfully with the slightly vanilla batter. You can use fresh or frozen cherries, depending on the season.   • 800 g cherries
  • 4 piece eggs
  • 125 g flour
  • 50 g brown cane sugar
  • 30 g butter
  • 25 cl milk
  • 25 cl cream
  • 2 packet vanilla

Preparation of the cherries

Wash, stem and pit 800 g of cherries. Set aside.

In the Thermomix bowl, place 4 eggs, 25 cl of milk, 25 cl of cream, 50 g of brown cane sugar and 2 sachets of vanilla. Mix 1 min/Stufe 10.

Add 125 g of flour to the Thermomix bowl and mix 1 min 30/keine/Stufe 4.

Cooking the clafoutis

Butter a square mold with 30 g of butter. Pour the preparation into the mold, add the cherries and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 to 40 minutes.
