Description

This BBQ marinade is ideal for any barbecue meat. The marinade consists of tomato ketchup, balsamic vinegar, mustard, sugar and garlic. The meat should marinate in the marinade for at least 4 hours, but preferably 12 hours. Preparation takes about 20 minutes, and resting time is 6 hours. The recipe is suitable for 4 servings.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 kg Meat for grilling
  • 300 ml Tomato ketchup, sweet
  • 5 EL Balsamic vinegar, dark
  • 4 EL Mustard, sweet
  • 8 EL Sugar, brown
  • 2 Zehe/n Garlic
  • 1 Spritzer Tabasco

Prepare marinade

Put 300 ml tomato ketchup, 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 4 tbsp mustard, 8 tbsp sugar and 2 cloves garlic in the mixing bowl. Stir for 30 seconds/speed 4.

Marinate meat

Place 1 kg of barbecue meat in a suitable container. Alternate layering the marinade with the meat, starting with the marinade. Make sure the meat is completely covered. Pour the remaining marinade over the meat and mix the layers with a knife or palette so that the sauce is well distributed.

Let meat marinate

Leave the marinated meat covered in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. 4-6 hours is also sufficient, but the taste intensifies with a longer marinating time.

Grill meat

Grill the meat slowly until it turns a dark color. It should not be black, but caramelized.
