Description

These savory muffins with peas and cherry tomatoes are perfect for a Sunday brunch or as a delicious appetizer. The recipe is very simple and quick to prepare with the Thermomix®. I love them because they are soft, tasty and full of color! The peas give a delicate sweetness, while the cherry tomatoes add a touch of freshness. You can customize the recipe by adding the cheese you prefer, such as provola or parmesan. They are also excellent warm or cold, ideal for a picnic or an excursion. Try them, they will win you over!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 2 piece eggs
  • 100 ml vegetable or cow's milk
  • 60 ml sunflower seed oil
  • 200 g peas
  • 50 g cheese to taste
  • 200 g 00 flour
  • fine salt
  • 7.5 g instant yeast for savory cakes
  • 8 piece pachino tomatoes

Preparation (6 steps)

Eggs and salt in the bowl

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Insert 2 eggs and fine salt to taste into the bowl and mix for 20 Sec./Speed 4.

Addition of milk and oil

Add 100 ml of milk (vegetable or cow's) and 60 ml of sunflower seed oil to the bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Speed 4.

Addition of peas and cheese

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3 Linkslauf Reverse

Add 200 g of peas and 50 g of cheese (to taste) to the bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Speed 3 Reverse.

Addition of flour and yeast

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add 200 g of 00 flour and 7,5 g of instant yeast for savory cakes to the bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Speed 4.

Addition of cherry tomatoes

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3 Linkslauf Reverse

Add 8 pachino tomatoes cut in half to the bowl. Mix for 5 Sec./Speed 3 Reverse.

Pour into the molds and bake

Pour the mixture into muffin tins. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes.
