Description

These chocolate marzipan tartlets are a delicious pastry, ideal for the Christmas season or other festive occasions. The dough is prepared in the Thermomix® and the cookies are filled with a delicious marzipan blackberry jam. Then they are coated with chocolate couverture and sprinkled with brittle. The preparation time is about 90 minutes.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 200 g Flour
  • 75 g Cornstarch
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 175 g Butter
  • 50 g Almonds
  • Blackberry jam
  • Marzipan
  • Rum
  • Chocolate couverture
  • Brittle

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Put 200 g flour, 75 g cornstarch, 100 g sugar, 1 egg, 175 g butter and 50 g almonds into the mixing bowl and process for 2 min./kneading level to form a dough. Then chill the dough a little.

Heat blackberry jam and add marzipan

Heat blackberry jam in a saucepan. Add small, cut pieces of marzipan and puree until everything is well mixed. Add rum to taste. Marzipan and rum to taste.

Bake cookies

Form round cookies from the dough and bake at 170 degrees for about 12 minutes.

Fill cookies and coat with chocolate couverture

Fill the baked cookies with the marzipan jam. Melt chocolate couverture. Dip the cookies completely in the melted chocolate couverture. Let drain on a wire rack and sprinkle with brittle.
