Description

This broiled salmon recipe is a flavorful and easy way to prepare a healthy meal. The salmon fillets are marinated in a savory blend of soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, lemon pepper, and garlic, creating a delicious balance of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors. I've been making this dish for years, and it's always a hit! The marinade infuses the salmon with incredible flavor, and the broiler gives it a beautiful, slightly caramelized crust. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a light lunch. It's also great for meal prepping!

Marinating the salmon

Pour the marinade from the mixing bowl into a shallow dish. Lay 1 pound skin-on salmon fillet skin-side up in the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 8 hours or overnight.

4

Broiling the salmon

Preheat the oven's broiler and set the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Transfer salmon fillets from marinade onto a baking sheet. Discard any remaining marinade. Cook salmon under the broiler until lightly browned and the flesh flakes easily with a fork, 7 to 10 minutes. Allow salmon to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
