Description

This aromatic winter tea punch with black tea, red grape juice, star anise and cloves is quickly prepared in the Thermomix®. A shot of brown rum and brown sugar round off the drink. In just 15 minutes, 4 servings of this warming drink are created. Ideal for the cold season, Christmas occasions or simply for enjoying.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

750 ml black tea
250 ml red grape juice
1 Stück star anise
1 Stück clove
100 ml brown rum
2 EL brown sugar

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare tea

Thermomix® Setting

Add 750 ml water to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./100°C/speed 1. Then add tea bags or loose tea and let steep for 5 min./100°C/speed 1. Remove tea bags or strain loose tea through a sieve.

Flavor grape juice

Add 250 ml red grape juice, 1 star anise and 1 clove to the mixing bowl and heat for 10 min./80°C/speed 1. Then strain the flavored grape juice through a sieve into a bowl.

Add the prepared tea, the flavored grape juice and 100 ml brown rum to the mixing bowl and heat for 3 min./70°C/speed 1.

Sweeten punch

1 min/158°F/Speed 2 70

Add 2 tbsp brown sugar to the mixing bowl and stir for 1 min./70°C/speed 2 until the sugar has completely dissolved. Season to taste and add more sugar if needed.
