Description

This hearty noodle casserole from the Thermomix® is a simple and inexpensive family meal. The main ingredients are noodles, mixed ground meat, onions, carrots and celery. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 50 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for using leftovers and as a filling main course for the whole family.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 200 g Noodles
  • 200 g mixed Ground Meat
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Stück Carrot
  • 1 Stück Celery Stick
  • 1 EL Tomato Paste
  • 500 ml sieved Tomatoes
  • 200 ml Vegetable Stock
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 100 g grated Cheese
  • 2 EL Oil
  • 0.5 TL Salt
  • 0.25 TL Pepper
  • 0.5 TL Paprika Powder
  • 1 Prise Herbs, chopped (e.g. Parsley, Oregano)

Preparation (10 steps)

Chop onion

Peel and halve the onion and place in the mixing bowl. Chop 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onion

Add oil and sauté 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare meat

Fry the meat in a separate pan.

Add vegetables

Clean the celery and carrots, cut into pieces and place in the mixing bowl. Chop 5 sec./speed 5.

Add tomato paste and meat

Add tomato paste and sauté briefly. Add fried meat, sieved tomatoes, vegetable broth, mustard, salt, pepper, paprika powder and herbs.

Cook sauce

Cook everything for 15 min./100°C/speed 1.

Cook noodles

Cook the noodles in salted water according to the package instructions.

Mix noodles and sauce

Drain the cooked noodles and mix with the sauce in the mixing bowl. Mix 10 sec./reverse/speed 2.

Layer casserole

Pour the noodles and sauce into a casserole dish.

Melt cheese

Sprinkle cheese over the casserole and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for approx. 25 minutes until the cheese has melted and is golden brown.
