Description

Stuffed pretzels from the Thermomix® are a hearty snack or savory finger food for your next party. The main ingredients are onions, ground meat, and peppers, refined with tomato paste. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes a total of 75 minutes, of which 45 minutes is active working time. The recipe makes 4 servings and is suitable as a main course or for a buffet. Thanks to the optional WunderSlicer V2 accessory from Wundermix, preparation is particularly quick.

Ingredients (16 ingredients)

  • 1 Zwiebel Onion
  • 2 Zehen Garlic
  • 2 EL Oil
  • 400 g Mixed ground meat
  • 1 Stück Bell pepper
  • 2 Stück Carrots
  • 1 Stange Celery
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 500 g Passata (sieved tomatoes)
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 1 TL Oregano
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 4 Stück Pretzels
  • 100 g Grated cheese

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Cut the onion into coarse pieces and place in the mixing bowl with the garlic. Chop for 3 sec/speed 5.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add oil and sauté for 3 min/120°C/speed 1.

Prepare meat

Brown the meat in a separate pan.

Add and chop vegetables

Clean the bell pepper, carrots, and celery and cut into coarse pieces. Place the WunderSlicer V2 with the fine slicer on the mixing bowl lid. Pass the vegetables through the WunderSlicer V2 and collect them. Alternatively, place the vegetables in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/speed 4.

Sauté vegetables

Add the chopped vegetables to the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 min/120°C/speed 1.

Add meat and remaining ingredients

Add the browned meat, tomato paste, passata, vegetable broth, mustard, oregano, pepper, and salt. Simmer for 20 min/100°C/Reverse/speed 1.

Season the sauce

Season the sauce with salt and pepper. If necessary, add a little water if the sauce is too thick.

Fill pretzels

Cut open the pretzels and fill with the sauce.

Bake pretzels

Sprinkle the stuffed pretzels with cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (conventional heat) for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
