Description

This simple garlic bread is quick to prepare and perfect as a side dish or snack. With the Thermomix®, the dough is ready in no time. Ideal for parties or cozy evenings. The recipe is vegetarian and offers a delicious alternative to traditional bread.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 250 g Flour
  • 0.5 Würfel Yeast
  • 100 ml Lukewarm water
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 EL Olive oil
  • 4 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 50 g Butter

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare yeast

Thermomix® Setting

Put 100 ml lukewarm water and 1/2 cube of yeast into the mixing bowl and stir for 2 min./37°C/speed 2.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add 250 g flour, 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp olive oil to the yeast mixture in the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading setting.

Let the dough rise

Place the dough in a bowl and let it rise covered in a warm place for about 15 minutes.

Prepare garlic

Put 4 garlic cloves in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Scrape down from the edge with the spatula.

Make garlic mixture

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 122°F

Add 50 g butter and 1 tbsp olive oil to the garlic in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Spread bread

Place the dough on a baking sheet, spread with the garlic mixture and sprinkle with a little salt.

Bake bread

Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for about 15 minutes.
