Description

This hearty cabbage and potato soup is a warming dish for the cold season. Prepared with few ingredients, it is ideal for a quick lunch or dinner. The soup is easy to prepare and is well suited for using leftover vegetables. One portion is filling and provides important nutrients. Perfect for the whole family.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 20 g Butter
  • 500 g Chinese cabbage
  • 450 g Potatoes
  • 750 ml Hot water
  • 1 TL Spice paste
  • 2 TL Herbs
  • 1 TL Spice mix
  • 1 Stück Pesto
  • 200 g Processed cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onion

Thermomix® Setting

Place 1 onion, halved, in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 seconds/speed 5.

Sauté onion

Add 20g butter and sauté for 3 minutes/speed 1/120°C.

Chop Chinese cabbage

Place 500g Chinese cabbage, cut into bite-sized pieces, in the Varoma container and place on the mixing bowl base.

Prepare potatoes

Place 450g potatoes, coarsely grated, in the simmering basket.

Cook soup

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/Varoma/Speed 2 Varoma

Add 750ml hot water, 1 tsp spice paste, 2 tsp herbs, 1 pesto, 1 tsp spice mix, a little sauce to the mixing bowl, insert the simmering basket, place the Varoma on top and cook for 15 minutes/Varoma/speed 2.

Finish soup

Add 200g processed cheese, salt and pepper and stir for 20 seconds/reverse/speed 2.

Serve

Then briefly add cabbage and stir in.
