Description

This creamy potato and chicken casserole from the Thermomix® is a gluten-free main course with chicken breast fillet, potatoes, and bell peppers. The preparation with cream and cream cheese results in a particularly creamy consistency. In 55 minutes, including 25 minutes of active work, a delicious dish for 4 servings is created. Ideal as a family meal or for light cuisine.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 600 g firm cooking potatoes
  • 2 Stück bell peppers
  • 500 g chicken breast fillet
  • 2 EL olive oil
  • 200 g cream
  • 100 g cream cheese with bell peppers
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 1 TL sweet paprika powder
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel and dice 600g of potatoes. Place in the simmering basket.

Cook potatoes

Thermomix® Setting

Add 1000ml of water to the mixing bowl. Insert simmering basket and cook potatoes for 10 min./100°C/speed 1.

Fry chicken and bell peppers

Cut chicken breast fillet (500g) into bite-sized pieces. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a pan and fry the chicken for 5 minutes. Dice 2 bell peppers and fry for 2 minutes. Season with 1 tsp sweet paprika powder, salt and pepper.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Empty the mixing bowl. Add 200g cream and 100g cream cheese with bell peppers to the mixing bowl and mix for 1 min./speed 3/60°C. Season with salt and pepper.

Finish casserole

Place potatoes, chicken, bell peppers and sauce in a casserole dish. Sprinkle with 100g grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for 30 minutes.
