Description

This date-almond-confection from the Thermomix® is a vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free snack with almonds, dates and oat flakes. In just 20 minutes, a delicious finger food or dessert is created, ideal for the Christmas season. The recipe yields a portion of confectionery and is perfect for anyone looking for a light and quick sweet. Easy to prepare even without WunderSlicer V2.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 50 g Almonds
  • 100 g Oat flakes
  • Salt
  • 150 g Dates
  • 60 ml Water
  • 15 g Coconut oil
  • 40 g Almond butter
  • 1 TL Cinnamon

Preparation (5 steps)

Grind almonds and oat flakes

Add 50g almonds, 100g oat flakes and a pinch of salt to the mixing bowl and grind for 15 sec./level 10.

Prepare date paste

30 sec/Speed 8

Add 150g dates and 60ml water to the mixing bowl and puree for 30 sec./level 8. If necessary, scrape from the edge with the spatula and puree again for 10 sec./level 8 until a creamy paste is formed.

Prepare date paste (alternative)

If fresh dates are not available, soak them for at least 3 hours or overnight. Add 150g soaked dates and 1 tbsp of the soaking water to the mixing bowl and puree for 30 sec./level 8. If necessary, scrape from the edge with the spatula and puree again for 10 sec./level 8 until a creamy paste is formed.

Mix all ingredients

Put the ground almond-oatmeal mixture and the date paste in a bowl and mix well.

Form and roll balls

Form small balls from the mixture and roll in cocoa powder.
