Description

This Baileys cream with mascarpone and sour cherries is a quick and easy dessert, ideal for festive occasions. The creamy mascarpone is refined with Baileys and processed with stiffly beaten cream into a light cream. Layered with fruity sour cherries, the result is a delicious dessert for two servings that can be prepared in no time at all. Perfect as a sweet ending after a festive meal.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 80 ml Baileys
  • 200 g Whipping cream
  • 1 Glas Sour cherries (drained weight approx. 175g)

Prepare mascarpone and Baileys

Put 250 g mascarpone and 80 ml Baileys into the mixing bowl.

Mix cream

Mix 250 g mascarpone and 80 ml Baileys for 20 sec./speed 3. Scrape down the sides with the spatula and repeat if necessary.

Whip cream until stiff

Thermomix® Setting
2-3 min/Speed 3.5

Put 200 g whipping cream into the mixing bowl and insert the butterfly whisk. Whip until stiff for 2-3 min./speed 3.5. The time may vary depending on the cream, so watch the process.

Fold in cream

Remove the butterfly whisk. Carefully fold the stiffly beaten cream into the mascarpone-Baileys mixture with the spatula.

Layer cream

Fill half of the cream into glasses, then spread 1 glass (drained weight approx. 175g) of sour cherries on top and cover with the remaining cream.

Decorate and serve

Decorate and serve the Baileys cream with mascarpone and sour cherries as desired. It tastes best chilled.
