Description
This Thermomix® carrot salad is a quick and easy raw vegetable side dish with carrots, orange, lemon, and sesame. Prepared in just 10 minutes, it is suitable as a healthy appetizer or light finger food. The vegetarian recipe is ideal for light cuisine and offers a fresh change in the summer. Makes about 4 servings.

800 g Carrots

1 Stück Organic Orange

1.5 Stück Lemons

2 EL Sesame

1 Bund Cilantro

5 EL Olive oil

1 Prise Salt

1 Prise Pepper
Preparation (5 steps)
Grate carrots
Place carrots in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula and repeat the process until the desired consistency is reached.
Zest lemon and orange
Zest the orange and lemon and set aside.
Crush sesame
Crush the sesame in a separate bowl or with a mortar.
Chop cilantro
Chop the cilantro and set aside.
Mix all ingredients
Place the chopped carrots, the grated lemon and orange zest, the crushed sesame, the chopped cilantro, olive oil, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix for 20 sec./speed 3.
