Description
These eggnog biscuits are a delicious pastry for the Christmas season. The recipe combines a simple dough of flour, sugar, butter and cocoa with a dash of eggnog. The biscuits are refined with a creamy filling of chocolate coating, butter and eggnog. Preparation takes about 40 minutes and is ideal for festive occasions.

20 g Cocoa

100 g Chocolate coating

80 g Butter

50 ml Eggnog
Preparation (6 steps)
Mix flour, sugar, butter, cocoa and egg yolk
Put 300 g flour, 100 g sugar, 200 g butter, 20 g cocoa and 1 egg yolk into the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 2 min./kneading stage.
Add eggnog and mix
Add 2 tbsp eggnog and stir in for 30 sec./speed 3.
Process and bake dough
Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, form into biscuits and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C top/bottom heat for 10 minutes.
Melt chocolate coating
Put 100 g of chocolate coating in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.
Add butter and eggnog to the chocolate coating
Add 80 g butter and 50 ml eggnog and stir for 30 sec./speed 3.
Fill biscuits
Fill the cooled biscuits with the cream.
