Description

These oven-baked meatballs with a mozzarella heart are a delight that I often prepare at home. The combination of juicy meat with melted cheese is simply irresistible. They are perfect for a family meal or an informal dinner with friends. The recipe is very simple and can be easily adapted to everyone's tastes. I sometimes add a little paprika to the meat to give it a smoky touch. Go ahead and try them, you will love them! In addition, they can be accompanied with white rice or a fresh salad for a complete and balanced meal.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 250 gramos Ground meat
  • 100 gramos Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 80 gramos Butter
  • 1 pinch Dried thyme
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 1 chorro Sunflower oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare the ground meat

Salt and pepper the ground meat and mix very well with your hands in a bowl. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Form the meatballs with cheese

Make mini hamburgers with small portions of meat and add a small cheese cube in the center. Close very well and form a uniform ball. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Seal the meatballs

In a pan with sunflower oil, add the meatballs and seal very well on all sides. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Bake the meatballs

Place the sealed meatballs in a baking dish and take to the preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes. The Thermomix is not used in this step.

Prepare the garlic and thyme butter

Thermomix® Setting

In the same pan where the meatballs were sealed, add the butter and melt in the Thermomix: 3 Min./50°C/Speed 1.

Add garlic and sauté

Thermomix® Setting

Add the finely chopped garlic to the Mixtopf and sauté: 2 Min./120°C/Speed 1.

Flavor the butter

Thermomix® Setting

Turn off the Thermomix and add the lemon juice and thyme. Mix: 10 Sec./Speed 3.

Serve

Finally serve the meatballs and bathe with the flavored butter. The Thermomix is not used in this step.
