Description

This savory pizza with lasagna topping is an absolute hit for any party or a cozy evening with friends! The fluffy pizza dough, topped with a spicy ground beef Bolognese and a creamy layer of cheese, makes this pizza an unforgettable taste experience. I always like to make it because it's so easy to prepare and everyone loves it. The preparation takes a little while, but the result is worth it! Perfect for anyone who likes it hearty.

Ingredients (27 ingredients)

  • 500 g Flour Type 550
  • 200 ml Milk warm
  • 150 ml Water warm
  • 50 ml Olive oil
  • 1 Pck. Dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sugar, level
  • 500 g Ground meat
  • 2 piece Onion(s) m.-large
  • 500 g Carrot(s)
  • 500 ml Tomato(es) pureed
  • 0.5 Tube Tomato paste
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Sugar, level
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable broth instant, heaped
  • 2 tbsp Basil fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp Oregano, heaped
  • 0.5 tsp Thyme
  • 0.5 tsp Rosemary
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper black
  • 300 g Gouda medium-old
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • Flour for working
  • Olive oil for the tray

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

Put 500 g flour type 550, 1 pack. dry yeast, 1 tbsp salt and 1 tbsp level sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4.

Knead dough

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/Kneading speed

Add 200 ml warm milk, 150 ml warm water and 50 ml olive oil and knead for 3 min/kneading level into a dough.

Let dough rise

Place the dough in a floured bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place for 60 minutes.

Chop onions, garlic and carrots

Thermomix® Setting

Put 2 medium-sized onions and 2 cloves of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec/speed 5. Then add 500 g carrots and chop for another 5 sec/speed 5.

Fry ground meat

Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry 500 g of ground meat in it until crumbly. Season with salt, pepper and 1 tsp paprika powder.

Prepare Bolognese

Put the chopped onions, garlic and carrots in the mixing bowl, add some olive oil and sauté for 3 min/120°C/speed 1. Add the fried ground meat, 0.5 tube tomato paste, 500 ml pureed tomatoes, 1 tsp level sugar, 1 tbsp heaped vegetable broth instant, 2 tbsp fresh or frozen basil, 1 tsp heaped oregano, 0.5 tsp thyme, 0.5 tsp rosemary, salt and black pepper and simmer for 20 min/100°C/speed 1.

Prepare cheese mixture

10 sec/Speed 6

Put 300 g medium-old Gouda in pieces in the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec/speed 6. Mix with 1 tsp nutmeg and set aside.

Top and bake pizza

Roll out the yeast dough on a baking sheet coated with olive oil. Spread the Bolognese on top and cover with the cheese mixture. Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 200 °C circulating air for 15 - 20 minutes.
