Description

Moarblattln are a traditional pastry that can be enjoyed both sweet and savory. This recipe for the Thermomix® allows for easy preparation of the dough. The Blattln are baked in hot fat and can be served with various side dishes. Ideal as finger food or for breakfast.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 300 g Wheat flour, smooth
  • 180 ml Milk
  • 15 g Butter
  • Salt
  • 1 TL Liquor

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Put 300 g wheat flour, 180 ml milk, 15 g butter, salt and 1 tsp liquor into the mixing bowl. Process into a smooth dough with the Patix dough knife for 2 min./kneading level.

Let the dough rest

Cover the dough and let it rest at room temperature for about 5 minutes.

Roll out and shape the dough

Divide the dough into 3 pieces. Roll out each piece of dough to a maximum of 2 mm thick. Roll out triangles or squares with a dough wheel. That is, first widthways at a distance of approx. 10 cm, then lengthways and finally possibly diagonally from top to bottom.

Bake Blattln

Bake the Blattln in plenty of hot clarified butter-oil mixture, floating. Pour hot fat over the Blattln while baking, preferably with a spoon. Turn over and bake until done.

Drain Blattln and serve

Lift the Blattln out with a skimmer and place immediately on fresh kitchen paper. Enjoy as fresh as possible.
