Description

This Lasagne Bolognese is a hearty main course for the whole family. With ground beef, strained tomatoes, and fresh vegetables, it is rich in flavor. Preparation takes about 2 hours and yields 4 servings. Ideal for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 3 Stück Onions
  • 3 Stück Carrots
  • 2 Stangen Celery stalks
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 500 ml Strained tomatoes
  • 2 EL Basil (dried)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 450 ml Milk
  • 90 g Butter
  • 50 g Flour
  • 500 g Lasagne sheets
  • 300 g Gouda grated

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare the vegetables

Cut the onions, carrots, and celery stalks into small pieces.

Brown the ground beef

Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a separate pan. Brown 500 g of ground beef in it. Add the prepared vegetables and season with 500 ml of strained tomatoes and 2 tbsp of basil (dried), salt and pepper. Add everything to the mixing bowl.

Simmer the Bolognese

Let the ground meat and vegetable mixture simmer for 120 min./100°C/speed 1.

Prepare the béchamel sauce

Heat 450 ml of milk in a saucepan. Melt 90 g of butter separately and stir in 50 g of flour. Gradually add the warm milk and heat while stirring constantly until the sauce thickens. Bring to a boil briefly.

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 200 °C (convection).

Layer the lasagne

Alternately layer in the following order: one third of the ground meat and vegetable mixture, one third of the béchamel sauce, lasagne sheets and a portion of 300 g Lindenhof Gouda grated. Repeat the process twice more.

Bake the lasagne

Bake the lasagne for about 35 minutes and sprinkle with the remaining Gouda in the last few minutes.
