Description

This chocolate mousse is a real treat for all chocolate lovers! I especially like to make it when guests come over because it can be prepared wonderfully and is always a highlight. The combination of dark and milk chocolate ensures a balanced aroma that is not too sweet. Preparation with the Thermomix® is child's play, and the mousse gets a wonderfully airy consistency. Perfect as the crowning glory of a festive menu or just when you want to treat yourself to something special. Be sure to try it!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 250 g Bittersweet chocolate
  • 100 g Whole milk chocolate
  • 2 piece Egg
  • 2 piece Egg yolk
  • 500 ml Whipping cream

Preparation (5 steps)

Chop and melt chocolate

Place 250 g bittersweet chocolate in pieces and 100 g whole milk chocolate in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./level 8. Then melt for 6 min./37°C/level 2.

Whisk eggs

4 min/Speed 4

Add 2 eggs and 2 egg yolks to the mixing bowl and insert the butterfly. Beat for 4 min./level 4.

Mix eggs and chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
8 min/122°F/Speed 4 50

Add the beaten eggs to the melted chocolate and stir for 8 min./50°C/level 4. Then let it continue to run for 2 min./level 4 without heat to cool the mixture down a little.

Whip cream until stiff

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/Speed 3.5

Insert the butterfly. Add 500 ml whipping cream to the mixing bowl and whip until stiff for 3 min./level 3.5. Transfer the cream.

Mix chocolate and cream

Add the slightly cooled chocolate mixture to the whipped cream and carefully fold in. Pour the mousse into a bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
