Description

This creamy Rice Pudding Classic from the Thermomix® is a simple and inexpensive dessert for the whole family. The main ingredients are rice pudding, whole milk, sugar and Bourbon vanilla sugar. The vegetarian dessert is suitable as breakfast, main course or sweet finish. In just 40 minutes, of which 10 minutes are active working time, you'll create 4 servings.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 250 g Rice pudding - short grain rice
  • 1 Liter Whole milk 3.5%
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 2 Päckchen Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 15 g Butter
  • 1 Prise Salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Melt butter and sauté rice

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/122°F/Speed 1, dann 2 min/212°F/Speed 1 50, 100

Put 15 g of butter into the mixing bowl and melt for 2 min./50°C/speed 1. Then add 250 g of rice pudding (short grain rice) and sauté for 2 min./100°C/speed 1 without the measuring cup.

Add milk, sugar and vanilla

Add 1 liter of whole milk (3.5% or 1.5% or coconut milk or oat milk), 40 g of sugar, 2 packets of Bourbon vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt to the mixing bowl.

Bring rice pudding to a boil

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed 90 Reverse

Close the mixing bowl and bring the rice pudding to a boil for 15 min./90°C/speed soft stirring Linkslauf. Make sure that the rice pudding does not burn.

Let the rice pudding simmer

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed 90 Reverse

Let the rice pudding simmer for another 15 min./90°C/speed soft stirring Linkslauf. If necessary, scrape from the edge with the spatula.

Season and serve

After the cooking time, stir the rice pudding vigorously again and season with sugar to taste. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or serve with cherries or cherry compote, if desired.
