Description
This chest wrap with St. John's wort oil and essential oils is a traditional home remedy for coughs and mild sore throats. The essential oils have a soothing and expectorant effect. The wrap is easy to prepare and use, but should not be used on children and pregnant women. The preparation time is about 20 minutes.
Ingredients (5 ingredients)

20 g St. John's wort oil

2 Tr. eth. Pine needle oil

3 Tr. eth. Mountain pine oil

5 Tr. eth. Lavender oil

2 Tr. eth. Camphor oil
Preparation (4 steps)
Heat St. John's wort oil
Heat 20 g of St. John's wort oil in a small saucepan or in the microwave. The temperature should be pleasantly warm, but not too hot.
Mix essential oils
Mix 2 drops of eth. Pine needle oil, 3 drops of eth. Mountain pine oil, 5 drops of eth. Lavender oil and 2 drops of eth. Camphor oil in a small bowl.
Mix oils and pour onto cloth
Add the mixed essential oils to the warmed St. John's wort oil and mix well. Soak a cotton cloth in it.
Apply chest wrap
Place the soaked cloth on the chest, wrap a towel around it and cover well. Leave it on for about 20 minutes. Caution: Not suitable for children and pregnant women.
