Description

This recipe shows how to steam waxy potatoes in the Thermomix®. The potatoes are cooked with their skins in the Varoma and are a simple and inexpensive side dish. Ideal as part of a main course or as a side dish to various dishes.

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 700 g Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 800 g Potatoes, waxy with skin, medium-sized (preferably the same size)

Put water and salt into the mixing bowl

Put 700 g water and 1 tsp salt into the mixing bowl.

Steam potatoes in the Varoma

Thermomix® Setting
35 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place the Varoma container on top, weigh in 800 g potatoes with skin, medium-sized (preferably the same size), close the Varoma and steam for 35 min/Varoma/level 1.

Serve potatoes

Remove the Varoma. Peel the potatoes while still warm and serve as a side dish.
