Description

This red wine cake is a classic cake that is perfect for the winter season. With ingredients such as red wine, cinnamon and cocoa, it is an aromatic treat. The preparation is quick and easy, making it ideal for spontaneous visits. The cake is designed for about 12 servings.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 4 Stück Eggs
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 gr Sugar
  • 1 Teelf. Cinnamon
  • 1 Teelf. Cocoa
  • 100 gr Chocolate sprinkles
  • 250 gr Flour
  • 1 Stück Baking powder
  • 1.25 dl red Wine

Preparation (5 steps)

Stir the eggs, butter and sugar until frothy

Add 4 eggs, 200 g butter and 200 g sugar to the mixing bowl and stir until frothy for 3 min./speed 4.

Add cinnamon and cocoa

Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of cocoa to the mixing bowl and stir in for 10 sec./speed 3.

Add chocolate sprinkles, flour and baking powder

Add 100 g chocolate sprinkles, 250 g flour and 1 baking powder to the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3.

Stir in the red wine

Add 1.25 dl red wine (130g) to the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3.

Bake

Pour the dough into a springform pan or bundt cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 55 minutes.
