Description

This cherry plum liqueur is a fruity-sweet delight that is easy to make yourself. With just a few ingredients such as cherry plums, rock sugar and schnapps, you can create an aromatic liqueur that is perfect as a digestif or for refining desserts. The preparation is uncomplicated and requires only a little patience while the liqueur infuses. Ideal for lovers of homemade drinks and seasonal fruits.

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 700 g Cherry Plums
  • 150 g Rock Sugar
  • 1 Flasche Schnapps (Vodka, Grain, Gin)

Preparation (3 steps)

1

Prepare cherry plums

Wash, pit and halve about 700g cherry plums. Place the halved cherry plums in a large preserving jar (preferably from IKEA).

2

Add ingredients

Add 150g rock sugar to the cherry plums in the preserving jar. Then pour 1 bottle of schnapps (vodka, grain or gin) over it.

3

Mix and leave to infuse

Stir the ingredients well in the preserving jar until the rock sugar has dissolved somewhat. Close the jar and leave to infuse in a cool, dark place for several weeks. Stir occasionally.
