Description

These crispy chicken strips are a real delight! I often prepare them for a quick lunch or a friendly dinner. The corn flake breading gives them an irresistible texture and a savory taste. It's a simple and quick recipe to make with the Thermomix®, ideal for weeknight meals. Accompanied by a fresh salad and a homemade vinaigrette, they make a complete and balanced dish. Feel free to vary the spices to customize the taste according to your desires. A real treat for the whole family!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 8 piece chicken strips
  • 2 pinch fine salt
  • 2 pinch pepper
  • 3 c. à c. garlic powder
  • 1 c. à c. pimenton
  • 150 g corn flakes
  • 1 piece egg
  • 60 g flour
  • 1 piece salad
  • 1 keine vinaigrette

Preparation of the corn flakes

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 8

Put the corn flakes in the Thermomix bowl and mix finely. 150 g corn flakes in the bowl and mix 10 Sec./Stufe 8. Transfer the crushed corn flakes to a bowl and mix with 2 pinches of salt, 2 pinches of pepper, 3 tsp. of garlic powder and 1 tsp. of pimenton.

Preparation of the breading

In a bowl, beat 1 egg. Pour 60 g of flour into a plate. Dip the chicken strips in the flour, tap to remove the excess. Then dip the strips in the egg and then in the corn flakes.

Cooking the strips

Place the strips on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.

Preparation of the salad

While the strips are cooking, prepare a green salad and season with a vinaigrette of your choice.
