Description

This Basquaise poultry dish is a real delight, perfect for autumn or winter evenings. The poultry, simmered with sun-drenched vegetables, offers an explosion of flavors in the mouth. Red peppers add a sweet touch, while tomatoes and garlic delicately flavor everything. It is a comforting and easy to prepare dish with the Thermomix®, ideal for a meal with family or friends. I often serve it with basmati rice for a complete and tasty meal. A real treat!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 2 piece Chicken thighs
  • 2 piece Onion(s)
  • 4 piece Tomato(es)
  • 2 piece Red pepper(s)
  • 3 c. à soupe Olive oil
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Ingredient preparation

Wash the poultry thighs, peppers and tomatoes carefully. Cut the red peppers into pieces and crush the garlic. Set aside.

Chop the onions

Put 2 onions in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3 Sek./Stufe 5.

Sauté the onions

Thermomix® Setting

Add 3 tbsp of olive oil to the chopped onions in the Thermomix bowl and sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add the garlic and peppers

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 4

Add 3 crushed garlic cloves and the red peppers cut into pieces to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 5 Sek./Stufe 4.

Add the tomatoes

Add 4 tomatoes cut into pieces in the Thermomix bowl. Salt and pepper according to your taste.

Sauce cooking

30 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Pour a little water (about 50 ml) into the Thermomix bowl to dilute the sauce slightly. Cook for 30 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Poultry cooking

Meanwhile, in a pan, brown the 2 poultry thighs in a little oil until they are golden brown on each side. Then add the poultry thighs to the Thermomix bowl.

Simmer the poultry

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/194°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Simmer everything for 10 Min./90°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.
