Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 225 g Wheat flour
  • 100 g soft butter or margarine
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 Päck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Päck. grated lemon zest
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 100 g Lemon Curd
  • 5 EL Lemon Curd
  • 3 TL Lemon juice
  • 75 g Powdered sugar

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare oven and baking sheet

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 180°C (convection: 160°C).

Prepare the dough

Thermomix® Setting

Place wheat flour, soft butter or margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, grated lemon zest and salt in the mixing bowl. Using the Meistermix Patix dough blade, process for 2 min./kneading speed to form a smooth dough.

Shape and chill the dough

Shape the dough into a 40 cm long roll and chill covered for about 1 hour.

Form balls and press in dimples

Cut the dough roll into approximately 1 cm wide pieces and form into balls. Place the balls on the baking sheet with spacing and press dimples into the balls with a wooden spoon handle. If the dough sticks, dip the wooden spoon in a little flour.

Prepare lemon curd and fill balls

Fill lemon curd into a freezer bag. Seal the bag well, knead the mixture a little and cut off a small corner. Fill the balls.

Bake lemon kisses

Bake the filled balls on the middle rack for about 12 minutes. Transfer the lemon kisses with the parchment paper to a wire rack and let cool.

Prepare the glaze

Put lemon juice and powdered sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 15 sec./speed 3.

Decorate lemon kisses

Sprinkle the glaze over the lemon kisses using a teaspoon.
