Description

These banana-nut-chocolate balls are a delicious and healthy snack, ideal for anyone who wants to eat sugar-free. The balls are vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free, making them suitable for many diets. With a short preparation time of only 25 minutes and a cooling time of 2 hours, they are quick to prepare and perfect for a snack in between.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 2 piece ripe Bananas
  • 2 tbsp Nut butter (e.g. peanut or almond)
  • 180 g ground Almonds
  • 1 tsp Psyllium husks
  • 1 Tafel dark, sugar-free Chocolate
  • Cinnamon
  • Sea salt

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare bananas

Peel 2 ripe bananas and cut into pieces.

Prepare nuts

Have 2 tbsp nut butter (e.g. peanut or almond) and 180g ground almonds ready.

Mix ingredients

Add the banana pieces, nut butter, ground almonds and 1 tsp psyllium husks to the mixing bowl and process into a homogeneous mass with the Meistermix Patix dough knife for 2 min./kneading level.

Form balls

Form small balls from the mixture and put them in the freezer for a short time.

Melt chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 122°F

Break 1 bar of dark, sugar-free chocolate into pieces and place in the mixing bowl. Melt for 3 min./50°C/level 2.

Coat balls

Remove the balls from the freezer after approx. 1-2 hours and coat with the melted chocolate.

Finalize

If necessary, sprinkle with some cinnamon and sea salt. Then store in the refrigerator.
