Description

These homemade breaded fish fingers are a real treat! I love preparing this recipe for a quick and tasty meal. The crispy breading contrasts wonderfully with the tender flesh of the white fish. It's a great way to get kids (and adults!) to eat fish. The preparation is simple and only takes a few minutes. You can use different types of white fish depending on your preferences. Serve these fingers with homemade tartar sauce or simple mayonnaise for a complete and balanced meal. A real treat for the whole family!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 6 piece white fish fillets
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 150 g fine breadcrumbs
  • to taste vegetable oil
  • to taste salt or fine salt

Preparation (6 steps)

Fish preparation

Cut the 6 white fish fillets into fingers of approximately 9 by 3 cm. Set aside.

Preparation of the plates for the breading

Prepare 3 plates: one with the 100 g of flour to which you will add a pinch of salt, one with the 150 g of fine breadcrumbs and the other with the 2 lightly beaten eggs. Set aside.

Breading the fish fingers

Pass each fish finger in the flour, then shake to remove the excess. Then, pass them in the beaten eggs, then in the breadcrumbs. Make sure each finger is well coated.

Heat the oil

Pour the vegetable oil into a large frying pan and heat over medium heat.

Cooking the fish fingers

Brown the fish fingers for 3 minutes on each side in the hot frying pan. Make sure they are golden and crispy.

Draining and serving

Put the fish fingers on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve immediately.
