Description

Linzer Stangerl are a Christmas Thermomix® recipe for fine cookies with a marmalade filling. The main ingredients are butter, sugar, flour and marmalade. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes a total of 120 minutes and yields approximately 40 pieces. Ideal as finger food, a dessert or festive pastry for the whole family.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 250 g Butter
  • 100 g Powdered or granulated sugar
  • Lemon zest (grated)
  • 3 TL Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 350 g Flour
  • Marmalade (for filling)
  • Chocolate (for dipping)
  • 160 g Chocolate
  • 100 g Butter

Preparation (7 steps)

Cream butter, sugar, lemon zest, vanilla sugar and salt

Put 250 g soft butter, 100 g powdered or granulated sugar, some grated lemon zest, 3 tsp vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min/speed 4.

Add egg and mix

Add 1 egg and mix for 20 sec/speed 3.

Add flour

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/keine/Kneading speed

Add 350 g flour and knead for 2 min/knead setting.

Fill dough in piping bag and pipe

Fill the dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle and pipe Stangerl onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Bake

Bake the piped Stangerl in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 10 minutes.

Melt chocolate

3 min/122°F/Speed 2 122°F

Put 160 g chocolate and 100 g butter in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min/50°C/speed 2.

Fill and dip

Fill the cooled Stangerl with marmalade (apricot) and dip one side of the Linzer Stangerl into the melted chocolate.
