Description

Discover a simple and delicious way to prepare roasted sweet potatoes, perfect to enjoy in autumn. This recipe, ideal for the Thermomix®, highlights the sweet and earthy flavor of sweet potatoes, enhanced with a touch of olive oil and aromatic herbs. At my house, roasted sweet potatoes are a star accompaniment to any meal, and sometimes I enjoy them alone as a healthy snack. The preparation is very quick and the result is simply delicious. Go ahead and try this recipe and surprise your guests with a dish full of flavor and color!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Sweet potato
  • 2 golpes Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 al gusto Salt
  • 1 para servirlos Butter
  • 1 para decorar Parsley

Cleaning the sweet potatoes

Wash the sweet potatoes well under the tap, rubbing gently with a brush to remove any remaining dirt. Make sure they are completely clean before continuing.

Preparing the sweet potatoes for roasting

Place the clean sweet potatoes in the Varoma container. Make sure there is enough space between them for the steam to circulate properly.

Steaming

Thermomix® Setting
35 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Pour 500 ml of water into the Thermomix bowl. Place the Varoma with the sweet potatoes on the bowl and program 35 min/Varoma/Stufe 1. After 20 minutes, carefully open the Varoma and turn the sweet potatoes over so they cook evenly.

Checking the cooking

Once the cooking time is finished, check that the sweet potatoes are tender by inserting a skewer. If it offers resistance, program 5 more minutes at the same temperature and speed.

Serve

Let the sweet potatoes cool for a few minutes. Remove the skin, which will come off easily. Serve the sweet potatoes with a little butter and chopped parsley.
